CMRE seeks talented Engineers to support its Engineering Branch across multiple disciplines. The role focuses on providing engineering expertise for scientific research, technology development and capability projects in maritime and underwater domains.

You will lead or support the lifecycle of systems and prototypes, translating needs into requirements and test plans, and integrating embedded, data acquisition and sonar systems for lab, shipboard and at-sea use.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science or technical discipline with relevant post-related experience.
• Master’s degree in related field with 2+ years post-related experience.

Mansioni

• Lead or support the engineering lifecycle of systems and prototypes for lab, land, shipboard, marine or underwater use.
• Translate needs into requirements, specs, test plans and deliverables.
• Design, develop, integrate, test and validate systems including embedded, data acquisition, sensors and sonar.
• Coordinate hardware, software, sensors and payload integration.
• Support lifecycle, procurement, testing, calibration, maintenance and repair.
• Plan and conduct trials, reporting readiness, logistics and safety.
• Act as Engineering Coordinator for trials when required.
• Contribute to modernization with requirements, risk and supplier engagement.
• Support project planning, schedules, costs, risks and acceptance.
• Prepare technical documentation and lessons learned.
