Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is seeking a Sales Manager - Shipping Industry to drive business growth in the maritime sector. You will work with shipowners, shipyards, marine OEMs, vessel operators, and EPCs to promote SEL's automation, protection, and control solutions.

You will develop sales strategies, build long-term relationships, and coordinate with Application Engineers to meet customer needs while guiding opportunities from prospecting to order closure.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent).
• Minimum 7 years of experience in technical sales, business development, or account management in shipping/maritime.
• Fluent English and advanced Italian; strong communication and presentation skills.

Mansioni

• Develop and execute sales strategies to expand SEL's presence in the shipping and maritime market.
• Build and maintain relationships with shipowners, shipyards, marine OEMs, vessel operators and EPCs.
• Identify new business opportunities and drive growth across strategic maritime accounts.
• Understand customer operational and technical needs and propose SEL solutions.
• Collaborate with Application Engineers and other technical teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Manage sales opportunities through full sales cycle from prospecting to order closure.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline visibility.
