MSC Cruises is seeking an Artwork Coordinator to support the New Building team in integrating artworks and decorative elements on ships, from concept through installation and final delivery aboard. The role requires coordinating with artists, suppliers, and the shipyard to ensure seamless integration with architectural design and timelines.

Ideal candidates are experienced in interior design or architecture, with a related degree, highly organized, and fluent in English.

Competenze

Experience in interior design or architecture, or cruise industry.
Qualification in Interior Design / Design / Art Studies / Architecture or related field.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Fluent English language skills (additional languages are a plus).

Mansioni

Oversee end-to-end process of integrating artworks and decorative elements aboard MSC Cruises ships.
Coordinate with artists and artwork consultants from concept through production, installation and delivery.
Produce briefs with technical specifications (dimensions from AutoCAD, materials) and conceptual guidelines.
Create visualizations or mock-ups of artwork concepts for stakeholders.
Communicate with suppliers to ensure technical requirements and design concepts are met.
Ensure materials meet quality standards and marine-grade fixing systems are used.
Supervise installation of artworks on board and coordinate with warehouse for delivery and loading.
Research potential suppliers and collate artwork ideas for approvals.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and marine conditions (humidity, motion, salt).
Advise on installation techniques and collaborate with suppliers on secure fixing.
