EssilorLuxottica in Rovereto (TN) invites graduates with a technical or IT background to join the Manufacturing Engineering team and contribute to the plant's digital transformation. You will design and implement digital solutions for manufacturing, logistics, and operations, bridging engineering, data, and continuous improvement.

You will gather requirements, build dashboards and tools, apply Industry 4.0 concepts, and explore AI-based approaches to boost performance.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field (Computer, Automation, Industrial).
• Strong interest in digital technologies, automation and Industry 4.0.
• Fluent Italian and good command of English.
• Curiosity, learning mindset and collaborative approach.

Your Role

We are looking for a motivated graduate with a technical or IT background and a passion for automation, digital technologies, and innovation.

As part of the Manufacturing Engineering team, in our Rovereto (TN) Plant, you will contribute to the digital transformation of the plant by developing and implementing solutions that improve manufacturing, logistics, and operational processes, working at the intersection of engineering, data, and continuous improvement.

Main Responsibilities

• Contribute to the digital transformation of the manufacturing plant by developing and implementing innovative digital solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through digital tools, automation, and Industry 4.0 technologies.
• Collaborate with Production, Automation, and Business Process Improvement (BPI) teams to drive digitalization initiatives.
• Gather business requirements from operational stakeholders and translate them into effective digital solutions.
• Support the implementation of digital projects aimed at enhancing manufacturing, logistics, and operational processes.
• Analyze manufacturing and operational data to support performance monitoring and data-driven decision-making.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and digital tools for plant operations.
• Contribute to the digitalization of workflows, processes, and information management systems.
• Explore and promote innovative technologies, including AI-based applications, to improve plant performance.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis, automation, and digital innovation.

Main Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical disciplines.
• Strong interest in digital technologies, automation, and smart manufacturing environments.
• Passion for Industry 4.0, Artificial Intelligence, and manufacturing digitalization.
• Basic knowledge of data analysis and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with digital tools, databases, reporting systems, or programming languages is considered a plus.
• Fluent Italian and good command of English.
• Curiosity and strong willingness to learn and explore new technologies.
• Creativity and innovative mindset, with the ability to propose and develop new solutions.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving attitude.
• Proactive, collaborative, and results-oriented approach, with a passion for continuous improvement.
