Sidel in Parma, Italy, is seeking a Manufacturing Projects Trainee to support optimization of inspection processes and continuous improvement initiatives within the Manufacturing Light Parts team. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and help implement measurement tools for dimensional verification of machined components.

Ideal candidates hold a degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, have good English, and are proficient with Excel, with strong analytical and collaborative

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical drawing and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with dimensional inspection techniques and measuring instruments.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team and communicate with stakeholders.

• Support the analysis, configuration, and implementation of an optical scanning inspection system for dimensional verification of machined components.
• Develop a reporting system for the storage and traceability of measurements collected through the optical scanning system.
• Analyze and propose layout optimization solutions to improve inbound and outbound operations and queue management within the department.
