Job summary

European Tech Recruit is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to drive lean transformation and continuous improvement in automatic assembly processes at our Legnago, Italy site. You will work with manufacturing teams to reduce downtime, improve yield, and support automation initiatives for capacity and cost reduction.

The role requires 3+ years in manufacturing engineering and a degree in engineering. Hands-on PLC understanding is a plus, with onsite work in Legnago, Italy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering field.
• 3+ years in manufacturing engineering, with automatic assembly processes.
• Familiarity with lean tools and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Understanding of PLC systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with manufacturing and production teams to identify and resolve process-related issues, minimising downtime and improving yield.
• Analyse errors and deviations in production processes and implement corrective and preventive solutions.
• Apply lean tools to eliminate waste and improve production flow.
• Identify and support automation projects related to cost reduction and capacity expansion.
• Collaborate with product development teams on cost estimation and new process design for NPI.
• Prepare technical reports, update work instructions, and maintain accurate documentation.

The team is looking to hire a Manufacturing Engineer to drive continuous improvement across production processes, support lean transformation, and improve manufacturing performance across safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

This is a permanent opportunity based in Legnago, Italy.

Key responsibilities for this Manufacturing Engineer position:
