Descrizione del lavoro

Rotork is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a 9-month contract at the Porcari, Lucca site. You will design, implement and document shop floor processes, driving efficiency and best engineering practice across production tasks and projects.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will support continuous improvement, audits and problem resolution, with hands-on CAD experience and Lean tools. Fluency in Italian and professional English are required.

Competenze

Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or a technical diploma.
Minimum 5 years as Manufacturing/Production/Industrial Engineer in manufacturing.
Hands-on experience in engineering-led production environments.
Lean and CI methods with proven efficiency, quality, productivity gains.
Lean tools and problem-solving: 5S, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, Gap Analysis, Timing Methods.
Data analysis, process performance measurement, root-cause analysis.
CAD experience: AutoCAD and Solid Edge.
Advanced MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Fluent Italian and professional English (min B2).

Mansioni

Design, implement and document shop floor processes with engineering best practices.
Participate in audits, technical support and problem investigations/resolutions.
Drive continuous improvement during transformational efficiency gains.
Suggest new processes and equipment where applicable.
Collaborate as a team member and also work independently with attention to detail.
