Alpitronic is seeking a Manager of Testing & Verification to lead a team of engineers in Bolzano, Italy. You will ensure compliance through robust and efficient testing methodologies for innovative e-mobility projects.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise and proven leadership experience, particularly in the fields of charging infrastructure or power electronics.

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from €74,000 to €110,000, including a variable bonus.

As Manager Testing & Verification, you will lead a team of test engineers responsible for system-level verification of new products, following the V-cycle methodology. Your mission is to ensure full product compliance with requirements through robust, efficient testing and certification activities.

Your Responsibilities

• Define and drive the overall Verification & Validation (V&V) strategy aligned with product requirements and R&D roadmap
• Define and manage Type Test, Qualification, and Certification plans in compliance with applicable standards (e.g. IEC, ISO, UL)
• Lead product certification testing activities, interfacing with external labs and notified bodies
• Oversee execution of verification plans (DVP&R), ensuring full traceability between requirements, tests, and results
• Supervise system-level testing activities (functional, environmental, electrical, safety, EMC)
• Drive issue resolution during validation, including root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Promote advanced testing methodologies (automation, HIL/SIL, data-driven validation)
• Ensure quality, accuracy, and completeness of test documentation and certification deliverables
• Lead, coach, and develop the assigned testing & verification team
• Plan and optimize resources, lab capacity, and workload across projects and certification activities

Your Qualifications & Skills

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
• Strong technical expertise in Test & Verification processes, with a solid understanding of validation plans and quality assurance principles
• Proven leadership experience in testing environments, ideally within charging infrastructure, power electronics, or the automotive industry
• Hands‑on experience with the V‑Model methodology for Testing and Verification
• Demonstrated ability to lead in a technical environment and manage priority conflicts across multiple projects
• Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and regulatory compliance
• Project management capabilities
• Fluency in English, with very good German and/or Italian
