Grand Hotel Timeo, a Belmond Hotel, in Taormina seeks an empathetic Maître d’Hôtel to orchestrate flawless dining experiences and guide the service team with elegance and charisma. You will elevate hospitality by anticipating guests' desires and coordinating with culinary and guest-relations teams.

Minimum 3–5 years in Michelin-starred or luxury hotel dining, fluency in Italian and English, and a passion for creating unforgettable moments in a world-class setting.

Qualifications

3–5 years as Maître d’Hôtel or Assistant Maître in luxury dining environments.
Fluency in Italian and English; additional languages valued.
Strong leadership and creativity to design guest surprise moments.
Deep knowledge of fine dining operations and wine pairing.
Experience with CRM/POS systems in upscale settings.

Responsibilities

Review daily reservations and VIP preferences to tailor dining experiences.
Coordinate with Guest Relations to design bespoke menus and itineraries.
Welcome guests with tailored recommendations and ensure flawless service flow.
Collaborate with Executive Chef and Head Sommelier on surprises and showpieces.
Lead and mentor the service team while upholding luxury standards.
