Motus is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to service and optimize advanced automation systems and industrial equipment at customer sites in the Netherlands. You will diagnose and repair complex machinery, perform preventive maintenance and contribute to reliability improvements in a high-tech environment.

The role requires hands-on experience, strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience servicing machinery, automation systems or industrial equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Able to diagnose and solve technical problems independently.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, hands-on environment.
• Good communication skills in English.

Responsabilités

• Perform testing, troubleshooting, corrective maintenance and repairs on complex machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical breakdowns and resolve technical issues on-site.
• Perform preventive maintenance to maximize machine availability and production uptime.
• Identify recurring technical issues and contribute to long-term reliability improvements.
• Support quality improvements and advise customers on machine performance where appropriate.
• Work independently to diagnose and solve technical challenges in a dynamic environment.
• Ensure machinery operates safely, reliably and efficiently.

Salary range: €3,200 – €4,000 gross per month

As a Maintenance Technician, you will maintain, troubleshoot and optimize advanced automation systems and industrial machinery for a high-tech customer in the Netherlands. You will work hands-on to solve mechanical and electrical issues, maximize machine uptime and contribute to the long-term reliability and performance of complex equipment.

About the role

As an all-round Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting advanced automation equipment and machinery at the customer's site. You will diagnose and resolve technical issues, perform preventive maintenance and help improve the reliability and performance of high-tech machinery.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform testing, troubleshooting, corrective maintenance and repairs on complex machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical breakdowns and resolve technical issues on-site.
• Perform preventive maintenance to maximize machine availability and production uptime.
• Identify recurring technical issues and contribute to long-term reliability improvements.
• Support quality improvements and advise customers on machine performance where appropriate.
• Work independently to diagnose and solve technical challenges in a dynamic environment.
• Ensure machinery operates safely, reliably and efficiently.

Working hours

• The position may include shift work depending on the customer's production schedule.
• Shift allowance applies when working in shifts.
• No regular overtime, supporting a healthy work-life balance.

Your profile

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience servicing machinery, automation systems or industrial equipment.
• Completed technical education in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field is a strong advantage.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Able to diagnose and solve technical problems independently.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, hands-on environment.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Able to deliver effective solutions under time pressure.
• Proactive and flexible approach to work.
• Motivated to continuously develop your technical knowledge and skills.
• Customer-oriented attitude and ability to communicate effectively on-site.
