The A-Rosa Lago di Garda Hotel, a 5-star resort, seeks a Maintenance Assistant to join the technical department in Salò, reporting to the Head of Maintenance. The role covers routine and non-routine upkeep of guest rooms, spa, and common areas, with hands-on electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks.

Flexibility for shifts, including Sundays, is required. Ideal candidates have 1 year of experience, relevant qualifications, and knowledge of safety regulations.

Competenze

• At least 1 year’s proven experience in the role, preferably in a 4- or 5-star hotel.
• Diploma or professional qualification as an electrician and/or plumber/heating engineer.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations; possession of valid fire safety and/or first aid training certificates is an advantage.

Mansioni

• Actively assisting with routine and non-routine maintenance of guest rooms, communal areas and the spa.
• Inspecting electrical, plumbing, ventilation and air-conditioning systems, reporting faults and carrying out necessary work and repairs.
• Carrying out painting and carpentry to maintain premises, furnishings and equipment.
• Providing technical support in setting up meeting rooms and during events on-site.

The A-Rosa Lago di Garda Hotel, a 5-star resort owned by the German group DSR Holding and open for around 10 months a year, is looking for a Maintenance Assistant to start in October 2026.

Responsibility

The successful candidate will join our technical department, which currently comprises four professionals, and, reporting directly to the Head of Maintenance, will be responsible for:

• Actively assisting with routine and non-routine maintenance of the guest rooms, communal areas and the spa
• Inspecting the electrical, plumbing, ventilation and air-conditioning systems, reporting any faults and carrying out the necessary work and repairs as agreed with the Maintenance Manager
• Ensuring the upkeep of premises, furnishings and equipment by carrying out painting and carpentry work
• Providing technical support in setting up meeting rooms and during events organised on-site
• Collaborate with external contractors.

Requirements

• At least 1 year’s proven experience in the role, preferably in a 4- or 5-star hotel
• Diploma or professional qualification as an electrician and/or plumber/heating engineer
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations; possession of valid fire safety and/or first aid training certificates is an advantage
• Good manual dexterity in the use of work equipment and tools
• Ability to quickly identify and report faults, and a proactive approach to resolving minor issues
• Problem-solving skills, precision, reliability and a team-oriented approach
• Flexibility regarding working hours and a willingness to work shifts, including Sundays and public holidays
• Category B driving licence
