IOTA Group is seeking a Maintenance Superintendent for an onshore Oil & Gas site in Basilicata, Italy. You will coordinate and supervise site maintenance activities, participate in HAZID/HAZOP, and manage PTW processes ensuring HSE compliance.

Ideal candidates have a mechanical/electrical/instrumentation engineering degree with at least 10 years in industrial maintenance and 5 in O&G operations. Rotation 28/28, 12-hour days, 1-year renewable contract.

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation.
• Minimum 10 years in industrial maintenance, with 5+ in O&G operations.
• Strong knowledge of rotating equipment and maintenance contracts.
• Solid understanding of HSE standards for industrial sites.
• Italian language would be a strong advantage.

As part of the reinforcement of our operations in Italy, we are currently looking for a Maintenance Superintendent to join an onshore industrial Oil & Gas site located in Basilicata, Italy.

Job Description

• Coordinate and supervise site maintenance activities
• Participate in HAZID, HAZOP, fault tree analysis, PTW processes, and HSE meetings
• Define maintenance priorities in coordination with operational teams
• Monitor critical parameters of static and rotating equipment (vibrations, temperatures, pressures, availability, efficiency, etc.)
• Support the implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance strategies
• Optimize short- and long-term maintenance plans
• Ensure compliance with site maintenance procedures and policies
• Liaise with inspection teams to optimize equipment shutdown periods
• Participate in daily PTW meetings and regular maintenance meetings
• Ensure availability of spare parts and consumables
• Analyze breakdowns and production shortfalls
• Contribute to maintenance budgeting activities
• Evaluate maintenance contractors’ performance and ensure HSE compliance
• Monitor and report maintenance KPIs

Qualifications

Education

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation disciplines

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial maintenance activities
• At least 5 years of experience in operational maintenance within Oil & Gas facilities

Technical Skills

• Strong experience in industrial maintenance operations
• Good knowledge of maintenance contracts management
• Familiarity with rotating equipment and reliability strategies
• Understanding of HSE standards and industrial site requirements

Languages

• Italian would be considered a strong advantage
