Greif is seeking a maintenance engineer in Lombardy to manage maintenance schedules and repairs, and to drive equipment enhancements for higher availability and yield. You will evaluate modifications, perform analyses, and may document procedures, while ensuring safety practices company-wide.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with 3-4 years of relevant experience, and strong problem-solving, teamwork, and leadership abilities.

• Keeps maintenance schedules and repairs; overall responsibility.
• Recommends, develops, and implements equipment enhancements to improve availability, capability, and yield.
• Evaluates equipment modifications, collects data, analyzes results, and may write maintenance procedures.
• Performs preventive and unscheduled maintenance; equipment failure analyses.
• Troubleshoots and diagnoses difficult and infrequent equipment problems.
• Procures replacement tools and parts for manufacturing operations.
• Assists with in-house design and fabrication of equipment; may obtain quotes, install new equipment, train colleagues.
• Ensures safety observances, PPE use, guards and safety features, and daily safety practices.
