EssilorLuxottica Group in Sedico, IT, seeks a Maintenance Engineer Internship who will design PM/PdM schedules and lead RCA investigations. You will evaluate machinery health, plan overhauls or upgrades, and support maintenance teams on electrical, mechanical, and PLC issues. This role emphasizes safety, SOPs, and regulatory alignment while contributing to capital projects. The position is ideal for a student pursuing an engineering degree with strong analytical skills.

Competenze

• Proficiency in MS applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Your role

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer Internship who will:

Main responsibilities:

1. Preventative/Predictive Maintenance (PM/PdM): design and refine maintenance schedules to minimize unplanned downtime.
2. Root Cause Analysis (RCA): lead investigations into equipment failures and implement permanent technical solutions to prevent recurrence.
3. Life Cycle Management: evaluate the "health" of machinery and provide recommendations for overhauls, upgrades, or replacements.
4. Troubleshooting skills: support for maintenance technicians on complex electrical, mechanical, or automation (PLC) issues.
5. Project Management: oversee capital projects (CAPEX), including the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
6. Compliance & Safety
7. Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Write and update technical manuals and safety protocols.
8. Regulatory Alignment: Ensure all machinery meets local and federal safety standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO, or EHS requirements).

Main requirements:

1. Data analysis, Problem solving, Lean techniques, Proficient in MS applications (Excel,Word,Powerpoint),
2. Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineer
3. Good working knowledge of English (read, write, speak with ease)
