Innovate is seeking experienced Maintenance Engineers/Technicians for flexible freelance/B2B opportunities in highly automated logistics and distribution environments. Candidates should have strong mechanical and electrical maintenance skills and be comfortable with shift cover, breakdown responses, and short-term projects in intralogistics settings.

• Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance background.
• Experience within intralogistics, material handling, distribution, warehousing or automated logistics.
• Experience maintaining and fault-finding conveyors, sortation systems, motors, sensors, drives and automated equipment.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable responding to breakdowns and technical faults.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Happy to work shifts and provide occasional short-notice cover.
• Open to freelance/B2B working arrangements.
• Legally able to work in Italy on a freelance/B2B basis.

Shift Maintenance Engineers / Technicians - Freelance / B2B

We're looking for experienced Maintenance Engineers / Maintenance Technicians who are interested in flexible freelance/B2B opportunities supporting highly automated logistics and distribution environments.

We're particularly interested in engineers who have worked around automated warehouses, intralogistics and material handling systems and who are comfortable providing technical support when needed. Assignments may include shift cover, breakdown response, emergency call-outs, holiday/sickness cover and short-term projects.

What I’m looking for:

• Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance background
• Experience within intralogistics, material handling, distribution, warehousing or automated logistics
• Experience maintaining and fault-finding conveyors, sortation systems, motors, sensors, drives and automated equipment
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable responding to breakdowns and technical faults
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced operational environment
• Happy to work shifts and provide occasional short-notice cover
• Available for adhoc, emergency, holiday/sickness or short-term assignments
• Open to freelance/B2B working arrangements
• Legally able to work in Italy on a freelance/B2B basis
