J.P. Morgan's Milano-based Investment Banking M&A team is seeking an Associate to help drive a growing Italian and regional M&A business.

You will participate in the full cycle of execution, build complex financial models, prepare marketing pitches, and present materials to clients and internal committees. You will work closely with analysts and senior bankers, gain exposure to cross-border transactions in Europe and globally, and may travel as part of deal execution.

Competenze

Prior investment banking experience.
Outstanding financial modelling skills.
Proven understanding of transaction cycle and the steps in the process.
Impeccable communication with senior professionals, clients and stakeholders.
Demonstrate interest in and focus on M&A structuring.
Eagerness to learn, develop and grow within corporate finance.
Fluent in Italian and English.
Solid understanding of broader IB products.
Experience in dealing with clients and other advisers.

Mansioni

Build complex financial models and prepare valuation, merger and other analyses.
Draft presentation materials and client materials for M&A transactions.
Keep abreast of market developments and knowledge of structuring and execution of M&A.
Collaborate with industry, country and product colleagues during origination and execution.
Execute transaction-specific responsibilities: organize and project-manage M&A process; support due diligence, deal documentation and announcements; liaise with clients and advisers.
