Job summary

WSP Italia is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and deliver electrical systems for industrial and infrastructure projects, with a focus on low and medium voltage applications. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to technical deliverables, and support automation interfaces throughout design development to commissioning.

The role emphasizes safety, compliance with IEC standards, and close interaction with contractors and vendors to ensure practical engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Approximately 5 years of experience in electrical design for industrial or infrastructure projects.
• Solid knowledge of low and medium voltage systems and IEC standards.
• Experience producing deliverables like single line diagrams, cable schedules and load lists.

Responsibilities

• Design and review electrical systems for low and medium voltage in industrial facilities.
• Prepare/ review deliverables: single line diagrams, cable schedules, load lists, schematics and technical specs.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, automation and project teams to ensure integrated solutions.
• Support PLC/SCADA or DCS interfaces and instrumentation activities where needed.
• Assist project execution through installation, testing and commissioning phases.
