Job summary

WSP Italia is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Engineering Services team in Italy, focusing on low and medium voltage design for industrial and infrastructure projects. The role involves designing electrical systems, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient solutions across MV and LV networks.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, prepare key deliverables such as diagrams and schematics, and support project execution from design through commissioning, with hybrid working

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Approximately 5 years of experience in electrical design for industrial/infrastructure environments.
• Solid knowledge of low and medium voltage systems, power distribution, switchgear and IEC standards.
• Experience preparing/reviewing single line diagrams, cable schedules, load lists, schematics and specifications.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, ETAP, DigSilent, EPLAN or equivalent software. Experience with PLC/SCADA/DCS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Electrical design for low and medium voltage systems in industrial facilities.
• Prepare and review single line diagrams, cable schedules, load lists, electrical schematics, calculations and specifications.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, automation, instrumentation and project teams.
