Job summary

WSP Italia is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join its Engineering Services team in Italy. With about five years of experience, you will design electrical systems for industrial environments, Data Centers and related topography, focusing on low and medium voltage applications.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to design development through to testing and commissioning, and ensure safe, efficient, and compliant electrical solutions across projects in Italy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering or related discipline.
• Approximately 5 years of experience in electrical design for industrial, infrastructure, Data Center or complex projects.
• Solid knowledge of low and medium voltage systems, power distribution, switchgear, substations and IEC standards.
• Experience preparing or reviewing deliverables such as single line diagrams, cable schedules, load lists, calculations, schematics and specifications.
• Experience with AutoCAD, ETAP, DigSilent, EPLAN; familiarity with PLC/SCADA/DCS is a plus.
• Proficient in Italian and English; able to work with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Electrical design for low and medium voltage systems in industrial facilities.
• Prepare and review electrical deliverables such as SLDs, cable schedules, load lists and schematics.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, automation, instrumentation and project teams.
• Support integration of basic automation systems (PLC/SCADA/DCS).
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors during project delivery.
