Belmond in Venice is seeking a Reservations & Ops Assistant for the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express. You will coordinate travel arrangements, manage guest data, and support cost analysis to sustain Belmond's luxury standard.

The role is based in Venice (Marghera offices) and requires fluency in English and Italian, with French a plus. Strong Excel and proactive, guest-focused service are essential for success in this fast-paced luxury environment.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred.
• Professional English, Italian and/or French (spoken and written).
• At least 1 year experience in luxury companies.
• Knowledge of Venice city and logistics preferred.
• Highly advanced Excel skills.
• Experience managing guest information in systems.

Mansioni

• Manage all staff travel arrangements including hotel bookings, flight reservations and ground transportation to ensure seamless travel.
• Utilize advanced programming skills to operational plan with providers and optimize scheduling efficiency.
• Maintain and update department cost files for data analysis and cost monitoring.
• Enter and maintain accurate data for yearly planning (dates, timings, stations, occupancy, meals).
• Create advanced guest requirements reports for onboard departments to ensure luxury service.
• Organize and coordinate passenger transfers based on Venice logistics knowledge and act as main contact for transfer providers.
• Collect information from Reservation Office, travel agents and data systems to convey clear staff information.
• Monitor stock supplies with warehouse coordination and prepare supplier documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental protocols.
