Job summary

KHAITE is seeking a Raw Material Associate, Non-Apparel, to own day-to-day management of non-apparel materials in Italy (Florence preferred). The role bridges sourcing, quality, and production, ensuring material availability, compliance, and timely delivery to sustain luxury production standards.

The candidate will work closely with the Raw Material Manager and collaborate with tannaries and suppliers, maintaining strict data records and audit-ready documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience managing raw materials in luxury production.
• Strong understanding of leather and other materials used in non-apparel goods.
• Highly organized, detail-driven, capable of working under production pressures.
• Directly manage tanneries and material suppliers focusing on quality and on-time delivery.
• Confident with ERP/inventory systems and Office; data accuracy matters.

Responsibilities

• Plan and secure raw material requirements against production calendars.
• Monitor stock coverage and anticipate shortages with clear actions.
• Coordinate with tanneries and suppliers on orders, deliveries, and priorities.
• Verify incoming materials against specs and handle non-conformities and traceability.
• Ensure materials are staged and released to cutting/assembly in correct sequence.
