The St. Regis Rome is seeking a part-time, temporary Host/Hostess to greet guests, manage wait lists, seat guests and support service staff. The role emphasizes guest engagement, language skills in English and Italian, and a polished, calm demeanor in a fast-paced environment.

You will assist with phones, take ToGo orders, and ensure sanitation and brand standards are met; weekend and bank holiday availability required.

Competenze

• Good knowledge or experience in the hospitality industry.
• Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Excellent English and Italian communication skills.
• Professional and friendly manner with guests.

Mansioni

• Welcome guests and be the brand ambassador; manage guests’ requests and complaints.
• Greet guests warmly, escort to dining area, present menus and introduce staff.
• Seat guests based on preference and inform about wait times.
• Answer calls and provide appropriate service; balance seating flow and accuracy of times.
• Assist dining room staff with service, water replenishment, and beverage service.
• Handle to-go orders, verify orders, and process payments for take-away.
