DSM-Firmenich AG in Collecchio, Italy, is hiring an Associate Manager Logistics Operations to establish and shape end-to-end logistics for a new manufacturing site. You will build a local logistics team and lead road, air, and sea freight, ensuring reliable service for production and customers.

The role requires at least 5 years in logistics, familiarity with customs/DG regulations, and fluency in English and Italian. SAP experience and strong stakeholder skills are essential.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in logistics or transportation.
• Experience leading teams within logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations.
• Knowledge of multimodal transportation operations, including road, air, and sea freight.
• Knowledge of customs regulations, international trade processes, and dangerous goods transportation requirements, including ADR and IATA frameworks.
• Experience working with SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluency in English and Italian.

Mansioni

• Lead and manage end-to-end inbound and outbound logistics operations across road, air, and sea transportation.
• Build, develop, and lead a high-performing logistics team.
• Ensure on-time delivery performance and operational excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Coordinate transportation activities with internal stakeholders, external logistics providers, carriers, freight forwarders, and customs partners.
• Ensure compliance with customs, international trade, transportation, and dangerous goods regulations and assist with shipping documentation.
• Partner with Customs and Trade team to ensure regulatory compliance and effective import/export processes.
• Monitor logistics service performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement corrective actions.
• Support transportation invoice validation and logistics administration processes to ensure timely supplier payments.
