Job summary

Cespira Canada Limited is seeking a Logistics Manager to lead the material flow, warehousing, and logistics activities supporting manufacturing and customer delivery. Reporting to the Senior Director, Integrated Supply Chain, you will ensure materials are available when needed and costs are managed effectively.

Qualifications

• Experience leading logistics and supply chain teams.
• Strong negotiation, cost control, and budgeting skills.
• Analytical thinker with problem-solving abilities and data-driven mindset.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders and suppliers.
• Focused on continuous improvement and Lean principles.
• Experience in the automotive industry is preferred.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• Minimum five years in a logistics/planning role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute logistics strategies for inbound/outbound transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
• Oversee daily activities of 3PL providers, freight forwarders, and carriers.
• Analyze logistics spend, negotiate contracts, and drive cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure supply chain continuity with material planning and contingency support.
• Coordinate material availability to production, prototypes, and pilot builds.
• Manage warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, and audits.
• Support planning tools and systems (MRP, Kanban, supermarkets) with data integrity.
• Collaborate with Purchasing to resolve supplier-related issues and expediting.
• Monitor KPIs and drive corrective actions for performance gaps.
• Assist budgeting and cost control for logistics and material handling.
