Sonoco Canada is seeking a Finished Goods Planner to manage production scheduling and capacity planning for cans and ends, aligning demand with production capabilities. You will optimize resource use, monitor inventory, and collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, sales, and warehouse teams on continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning accuracy and responsiveness.

The role requires a university degree and fluency in Italian and English, with 0–3 years in supply chain

Competenze

• 0-3 years of experience in supply chain (manufacturing preferred)
• Advanced use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of ERP logics (Oracle ERP is a plus)
• Fluent in Italian and English; other European languages are a plus

Mansioni

• Develop and maintain detailed short-term production schedules to ensure optimal sequencing and efficient use of production resources.
• Monitor limited warehouse capacity and maximize rotation index of goods.
• Manage work orders (raising, scheduling, closing).
• Align daily and weekly production plans with demand priorities, capacity constraints, and material availability.
• Monitor schedule adherence and proactively adjust plans in response to changes in demand, disruptions, or constraints.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance and quality teams to ensure smooth execution of the production schedule.
• Identify bottlenecks and support actions to improve line efficiency, throughput, and responsiveness.
