Job summary

Nestlé Purina Italy is seeking a Project Engineer – Automation Systems to lead design, installation and start-up of capital investment projects for AGV systems and intralogistics. You will develop URS, manage schedules and budgets, and oversee commissioning to ensure safe, compliant operation.

The role requires strong cross-functional leadership, hands-on project management and a focus on safety and quality in a major manufacturing initiative in Mantova. English is mandatory; Italian is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leading capital investment projects in the food industry.
• Experience leading and developing cross-functional teams in project/manufacturing environments.
• Exposure to end-of-line integration, material handling and intralogistics.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and start-up capital investment projects within the AGV scope.
• Prepare URS, project schedules and cost estimates for AGV solutions.
• Coordinate installation, controls/software interfaces, testing and commissioning.
• Ensure safety, TPM and regulatory compliance throughout design, build and ramp-up.
