Translated is seeking a Localization Vendor & Resource Manager to expand and optimize its network of language professionals. You will manage the resource database, drive data-driven recruitment, and collaborate with project teams to ensure smooth resource allocation across translation, DTP, AI annotation, and related services.

Applicants should have 2+ years in vendor/resource management within the language industry, strong analytical skills, and fluency in English.

We are looking for a Localization Vendor & Resource Manager.

As a Localization Vendor & Resource Manager you will play a key role in expanding, qualifying, and optimizing our network of language professionals across all service types (translation, DTP, AI annotation, copywriting, interpreting, etc.).

You will be responsible for ensuring that our resource database remains robust, diversified, and aligned with current and forecasted production needs, leveraging data-driven strategies to achieve measurable recruitment and qualification goals.

Responsibilities

• Talent acquisition and database expansion: Continuously source, evaluate, and recruit professionals across multiple domains to strengthen our supply network, using targeted and innovative sourcing strategies
• Qualification and ranking: Assess and rank professionals through data-driven processes to improve matching accuracy and responsiveness to project needs
• Database management: Maintain a high-quality, accurate, and up-to-date database of linguists and specialized contributors, ensuring complete and standardized profiles
• Data analysis and forecasting: Monitor trends, forecast language and service needs, and identify talent gaps across verticals, markets, and service types
• Cost and coverage management: Align recruitment efforts with business needs, optimizing the cost per qualified resource and ensuring operational coverage above target thresholds
• Collaboration and alignment: Work closely with Project Managers, Account Managers, and Quality Managers to ensure smooth resource allocation, resolve bottlenecks, and translate production data into recruitment priorities
• Reporting: Provide regular insights and reports on recruitment funnel performance, coverage index, and alignment between resource quality and operational outcomes

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Vendor Manager, Resource Manager, or Community Manager in the language industry
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recruitment strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and foster long-term relationships with freelancers and partners
• High attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Proficiency in computer and web-based tools (CRM, databases, spreadsheets, analytics dashboards)
• Highly motivated, results-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus

Our Offer

Based on a standard level of experience, the offered salary typically ranges between €28.000,00 and €48.000,00. The actual package depends on factors such as location, scope of responsibilities, and performance. Compensation generally grows quickly as experience leads to greater contributions. Exceptionally strong candidates may be offered salaries above this range to acknowledge their higher potential impact.

We offer a flexible remote work policy, combined with a requirement for periodic presence at our Rome HQ.
