ING Italia seeks a detail-oriented resource to join the Payments team within Operations and gain exposure to the main back-office activities for Retail banking services.

The role will deepen knowledge of Payment Systems, support drafting and review of operating manuals, and participate in process improvements with accounting-related aspects, while complying with the Bank's policies.

Competenze

• Degree in Economics or similar field.
• Strong IT skills with MS Excel.
• Accuracy, punctuality and attention to detail.
• Flexibility and adaptability.
• Good command of English.

Mansioni

• Support in settlement management of services offered (SCT payments, SDD, cheques, account closure).
• Review operating manuals related to procedures.
• Participate in implementation or improvement of the Area’s processes.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies in daily work.
• Assist in data analysis for risk indicators and reports.
• Support supplier monitoring activities and risk event closures.

Descrizione del lavoro

The resource, joining the Payments team, will have the opportunity to gain experience within Operations and learn about the main back-office activities related to the services of this Area.

In particular, the resource will have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge and gain a comprehensive view of Payment Systems, understand the characteristics of the products offered by the Bank, especially to Retail customers, support both the drafting and review of operating manuals/banking procedures, and participate in the implementation or improvement of processes, including accounting-related aspects.

Key Responsibilities

The resource will support the team in the following activities:

• Management of the settlement of services offered, such as SCT payments, SDD, cheques, account closure etc.
• Review of operating manuals related to procedures
• Participation in the implementation or improvement of the Area’s processes
• Work in constant compliance with the Bank’s policies
• Support in the analysis of the most relevant transactions
• Support in preparing summary reports of data requested by other areas
• Support in managing relationships with second-level functions
• Support in retrieving data for risk indicators
• Support in supplier monitoring activities
• Support in the analysis and closure of risk events

Requirements

• Degree in Economics or similar fields
• Good IT skills – MS Office, particularly Excel
• Accuracy, punctuality and attention to detail
• Flexibility and adaptability
• Good command of English
• Previous experience in the field will be considered a plus
