ING in Milan is seeking a Payments Operations Assistant to gain hands-on experience within the Payments team and to learn back-office activities related to Retail banking services. You will participate in drafting and reviewing operating manuals, help implement process improvements, and support various administrative and analytical tasks to ensure compliance and accuracy.

This hybrid role offers exposure to Payment Systems, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration across ING's

Competenze

• Degree in Economics or similar field required.
• Strong IT skills with MS Office, especially Excel.
• Accuracy, punctuality and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability.
• Good command of English.
• Previous experience in the field is a plus.

Mansioni

• Manage settlement of services such as SCT payments, SDD, cheques.

Job Description

The resource, joining the Payments team, will have the opportunity to gain experience within Operations and learn about the main back-office activities related to the services of this Area. In particular, the resource will have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge and gain a comprehensive view of Payment Systems, understand the characteristics of the products offered by the Bank, especially to Retail customers, support both the drafting and review of operating manuals/banking procedures, and participate in the implementation or improvement of processes, including accounting-related aspects.

Key Responsibilities

• Management of the settlement of services offered, such as SCT payments, SDD, cheques, etc.
• Review of operating manuals related to procedures
• Participation in the implementation or improvement of the Area's processes
• Work in constant compliance with the Bank's policies
• Support in the analysis of the most relevant transactions
• Support in preparing summary reports of data requested by other areas
• Support in managing relationships with second-level functions
• Support in retrieving data for risk indicators
• Support in supplier monitoring activities
• Support in the analysis and closure of risk events

Requirements

• Degree in Economics or similar fields
• Good IT skills - MS Office, particularly Excel

Location: Milan (hybrid)

Compensation: 1500€/month
