Job summary

HTLC Network is seeking a Local Consultant to provide relocation and immigration assistance to expatriates in Catania and across Sicily. You will work closely with HR Mobility Consultants to organize itineraries and services.

This freelance/self-employed role requires a valid Italian VAT number (Partita IVA) and willingness to travel within Sicily, including Gela. Responsibilities include welcoming expats, conducting local orientation tours, accompanying visits to housing and facilities, and

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Italian VAT number (Partita IVA).
• Valid driver's license and own vehicle in good condition.
• Availability to travel within Sicily, including Gela.
• Fluency in English (C1) and Italian.
• Must have mobile phone and ability to check email daily.

Responsibilities

• Welcome expats providing a friendly environment.
• Provide local orientation tours in Catania and other Sicilian cities.
• Accompany expats to property visits for rent and to international schools, gyms, doctors, etc.
• Assist expats with immigration-related appointments and procedures when necessary.
• Travel across Sicily (including Gela) to support assignments outside the Catania area.

Job description

HTLC Network, a Swiss business consulting company, is currently searching for a Local Consultant to provide Relocation & Immigration assistance to expatriates in Catania and across Sicily.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, confident, and proactive individual to join our team and work closely with our HR Mobility Consultants, who will organize and schedule the itinerary and services to be delivered.

Please note: this opportunity is open exclusively to candidates who hold a valid Italian VAT number (Partita IVA), as the collaboration will be structured as a freelance/self-employed engagement. Assignments may take place in Catania as well as in other locations across Sicily, including Gela, so availability to travel within the region is required. Availability will always be agreed in advance between both parties on a case‑by‑case basis, according to actual needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome expats providing a friendly environment
• Provide local orientation tours in Catania and other Sicilian cities
• Accompany expats (and their families) in visiting properties for rent and other facilities such as international schools for children, gyms, doctors, etc.
• Accompany expats to immigration-related appointments and procedures, when necessary
• Travel across Sicily (including Gela) to support assignments outside the Catania area, when required

Basic Qualifications:

• Valid Italian VAT number (Partita IVA)
• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle (in good condition)
• Availability to travel within Sicily, including Gela
• Fluency in English (C1) to communicate with us and expatriates
• Fluency in Italian to communicate with local people and immigration authorities
• Mobile phone and possibility to check email daily

Nice to Have:
