IOTA Group is seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer to join its teams for a leading global energy company, supporting a major LNG development in Milan, Italy. You will oversee HVAC engineering activities and coordinate with multiple disciplines during the engineering phase of a large LNG facility.

The role requires a Master’s degree in mechanical/HVAC engineering, at least 10 years of relevant experience, and strong knowledge of ASHRAE, NFPA, API and ISO standards.

Competenze

• Master's degree in Mechanical or HVAC engineering.
• 10+ years of HVAC engineering experience in Oil & Gas or LNG projects.
• Experience with HVAC in classified and hazardous areas (ATEX).
• Knowledge of ASHRAE, NFPA, API and ISO standards.
• Experience reviewing HVAC documentation (data sheets, P&IDs, layouts).
• Experience supervising engineering contractors and vendors.
• Experience with FAT, HAZOP, design reviews and constructability.
• Chartered Engineer or PE preferred.

Mansioni

• Oversee HVAC engineering activities across the project.
• Manage issuance, review and approval of HVAC documentation.
• Ensure Project HSE requirements are integrated throughout HVAC design.
• Monitor engineering progress of HVAC systems delivered by contractors.
• Review documentation for compliance with project specs, SOR, HSE and standards.
• Supervise contractors performing detailed HVAC design, ensuring cost, schedule, quality and safety.
• Develop and review HVAC deliverables for consistency.
• Identify opportunities for design optimization, standardization and cost savings.
• Coordinate with other disciplines on constructability and interfaces, including 3D model reviews.
• Participate in HAZOP studies, FAT and vendor inspections.
• Ensure quality and completeness of final HVAC documentation before handover.
