Job summary

Fincons Group in Italy is seeking a Linux Architect to design, implement, and maintain robust Linux-based infrastructure solutions.

You will lead design and deployment of scalable Linux systems on VMware, migrate from CentOS to Rocky Linux, automate with Ansible, and set up monitoring with Grafana and Prometheus.

This near-site role in Ispra, Italy requires English at B2+ and a strong background in Kubernetes (RKE2) and Solr/Spark workloads, with collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Linux administration and architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Automate system management with Ansible and Puppet.

• Upgrade servers from CentOS to Rocky Linux.
• Configure Apache Spark and Solr clusters.

• Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps practices.
