Fincons Group in Italy is seeking a Linux Architect to design, implement, and maintain robust Linux-based infrastructure solutions.

You will lead design and deployment of scalable Linux systems on VMware, migrate from CentOS to Rocky Linux, automate with Ansible, and set up monitoring with Grafana and Prometheus.

This near-site role in Ispra, Italy requires English at B2+ and a strong background in Kubernetes (RKE2) and Solr/Spark workloads, with collaboration across teams.

Linux Architect

As a Linux Architect you will design, implement, and maintain robust Linux-based infrastructure solutions. Your role includes strategic planning, system optimization, and ensuring high availability and security.

Ispra, Italy. Near-site service provision with regular on-site presence of 1 day per week. Ad hoc on-site presence may be requested with a notice period of 2 hours.

Minimum level of qualification

Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience or secondary education and 12 years of experience.
