Alstom in Bologna is seeking a senior leader to own the Traffic Management System software lifecycle, from design through deployment. You will define IT architecture, ensure cybersecurity, and drive CI/CD across projects, while coordinating sizable international teams and delivering critical railway software solutions.

The role requires extensive experience in software engineering, systems deployment, and strong English proficiency.

Competenze

• At least 20 years in information and communication technology industries (railway, automotive, aerospace, or similar).
• At least 20 years managing large international teams of ~100 people.
• At least 20 years managing complex systems and software development projects.
• Strong background in software engineering, including deployment and SW lifecycle management.
• Solid technical background across hardware, software, IT systems, and cybersecurity.
• Proficiency in English.

Mansioni

• Lead the design and development of the Traffic Management System according to program and project requirements.
• Define and oversee IT architecture, cybersecurity, and infrastructure strategy.
• Manage software development activities, including design, coding, and CI/CD.
• Adapt to new engineering development methods and tools following Alstom processes.
• Conduct V&V activities, including performance and functional tests.
• Provide product support throughout project execution and deployment.
• Manage and lead resources allocated to the product and provide technical support.
• Ensure knowledge transfer and onboarding for team members and newcomers.
