Alstom in Vado Ligure seeks an experienced Software Development Engineer to design and deliver embedded software for railway equipment and diagnostic systems. You will implement modules in C/C++, ensure configuration control, and integrate software within TCMS subsystems across the project lifecycle.

Competenze

• Master's or bachelor degree in electronic or software engineering.
• Hands-on development experience in software phases incl. requirements, development, and hardware-software integration.
• Embedded software design and implementation in C/C++ for complex diagnostics data systems.
• Linux knowledge and basic network protocols (MVB, Ethernet, CAN, RS232, RS485).
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and software release processes in an industrial setting.
• English proficiency in spoken and written form.

Mansioni

• Design and implement embedded software modules for railway equipment per requirements.
• Monitor, control, and consolidate software development activities; manage timelines.
• Integrate software into TCMS subsystems and manage software configuration control.
• Develop software integration plan and provide progress reports.
• Support supplier testing on TCMS Test Bench; assist during train integration and validation.
• Ensure executable code performance on target and drive process improvements.
