Rosewood Rome is seeking a Head Sommelier to curate and lead an extensive wine program across outlets and guest rooms. You will shape selection, pairings, service standards, and train a growing team to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a sophisticated dining environment.

Collaborating with restaurant managers and suppliers, you will manage inventory, purchasing, tastings, and events while upholding Forbes and LQA standards and driving wine sales and profitability.

Competenze

• WSET Level 3 or equivalent certification.
• Expert knowledge of global wine regions.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.

Mansioni

• Develop and maintain an extensive, balanced wine list featuring domestic and international selections.
• Oversee storage and preservation of wine cellar areas.
• Lead wine tastings and educational events to promote Rosewood Rome wine programs.
• Train and develop a high-performing sommelier team and educate front-of-house staff on wine knowledge.
• Manage beverage costs, inventory, supplier relations, and yearly revenue targets.

Formazione

WSET Level 3 or equivalent professional certification
