Evotec seeks a Research Expert to lead Early Pharmaceutics projects from Discovery through Candidate Nomination and early Development in Verona, Italy. You will define formulation strategies, interpret data and guide progression toward clinical development while mentoring junior scientists and promoting scientific excellence.

The role requires strong analytical chemistry and biopharmaceutics expertise, with leadership across Medicinal Chemistry, DMPK and Development teams.

Competenze

• PhD (preferred) or MSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field.
• 8–10 years of relevant industrial experience in early pharmaceutical development.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary pharmaceutical development projects in a customer-focused environment.

Mansioni

• Lead multidisciplinary customer projects from Discovery through Candidate Nomination and early Development as scientific lead.
• Define formulation and biopharmaceutics strategies based on API properties and developability assessments.
• Apply analytical, physicochemical and formulation expertise to design, evaluate and recommend formulation approaches.
• Mentor junior scientists and contribute to scientific excellence and continuous improvement.
