Job summary

Fliff Inc is seeking a Python Team Lead to head the Integration team, owning backend features end-to-end from design to production. The role focuses on building scalable services with Python and Django and developing integrations with KYC providers, geolocation services, and payments.

You will collaborate with product and engineering to scope new integrations, implement observability, and drive quality through tests and on-call support.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and managing a team of at least 3 engineers
• 5+ years of development experience with Python as the primary language
• Proven API and system integration experience, including third-party APIs, webhooks, and idempotency
• Experience with observability tools to monitor production integrations
• Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures and concurrency
• Experience in architecture design for highly loaded, scalable solutions
• Understanding of full software development lifecycle from requirements to production monitoring

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for a team and own backend features end-to-end
• Design, develop and maintain scalable backend services with Python and Django
• Build and maintain integrations with external systems (KYC, geolocation, payments)
• Collaborate with product and engineering to scope and deliver new integrations
• Implement observability across integration flows with monitoring, logging and alerting
• Write unit and integration tests and participate in on-call rotations
