A Senior Power Electronics Engineer - MVDC is wanted by Ampere Recruitment Ltd in Bologna to lead the design and development of MVDC converters from concept through qualification.

You will own end-to-end converter design, topology selection, simulation, hardware design, and validation while mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with systems, controls and mechanical teams. Experience with SiC/IGBT and MV levels is essential.

Competenze

• 5+ years in power electronics design with MV (>3kV DC) experience.
• Strong knowledge of MV converter topologies and high-voltage insulation.
• Hands-on lab experience with high-voltage testing and safety practices.

Mansioni

• Design and develop MVDC converters from concept to qualification.
• Own converter design end-to-end, topology selection, simulation, hardware design, validation.
• Mentor junior engineers and support design reviews and strategic direction.
• Collaborate with systems, controls, and mechanical teams.
