Bosch Sensortec in Milan Design Center is seeking a MEMS design specialist to develop models and simulations for inertial MEMS sensors, focusing on accelerometers and FEM-based analysis.

The role requires a Master/PhD in a related field, strong English, and hands-on experience with MATLAB, Python, and FEM tools. A cross-functional, autonomous work style is essential and German is a plus.

Competenze

• Master of Science or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or equivalent.
• Fluent English (B2 minimum), German as a plus.
• Proficient coder. Experience with MATLAB/Python and Finite Element Simulation tools required. Additional Simulink skills and experience with AI methods is preferred.
• Autonomous, self-organized working in a complex development environment; structured concept development in simulations and algorithms; excellent presentation skills.
• Specialist for MEMS design and model development for inertial MEMS sensors (FEM, Matlab, etc.) with at least 3-5 years of experience; cross-functional teamwork; lab experiences.

Mansioni

• Take responsibility: design MEMS structures with respect to mechanical and electrical behavior.
• Model based design: carry out dedicated simulations to optimize MEMS structures with focus on accelerometers.
• Drive the future: develop new algorithms for design optimization and improve simulation methods.
• Be part of the team: part of a cross functional engineering team and take responsibility for internal activities or work packages in design projects.
• Networking: coordinate design and simulation tasks and cooperation with project management and technology development.
