Bosch Sensortec, Milan Design Center, seeks a MEMS design specialist to design MEMS structures and simulate their mechanical and electrical behavior for accelerometer applications.

You will conduct model-based simulations, develop optimization algorithms, and analyze cause-and-effect in designs while collaborating with project management and technology development teams to deliver robust sensor solutions.

Competenze

• Master of Science or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or equivalent.
• Fluent English (B2 minimum); German a plus.
• Proficient with MATLAB and Python; FEM tools and Simulink experience preferred.
• 3–5 years of MEMS design and model development experience; cross-functional teamwork.
• Autonomous and structured in a complex development environment.

Mansioni

• Design MEMS structures based on customer requirements, considering mechanical and electrical behavior.
• Perform model-based simulations to optimize MEMS accelerometer designs.
• Develop new algorithms for design optimization and improve simulation methods.
• Coordinate with project management and technology development within a cross-functional team.
• Collaborate with ASIC and package teams as part of integrated design projects.
