Job summary

Acquire4Hire LLC in Woodstock, VA, seeks a compassionate Lead Infant Teacher to oversee daily care and early learning for infants. You will design age-appropriate activities, partner with parents, and ensure a safe, nurturing classroom that supports milestones.

You will mentor assistant teachers, maintain health and safety standards, and collaborate with the licensing team to meet Virginia requirements. Previous experience with infants and a CDA or ECE degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; CDA or Associate degree preferred
• 1–2 years of experience with infants/toddlers in licensed childcare
• Understanding of infant development, positive guidance, safe sleep (SIDS)
• CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain
• Background check and fingerprinting per VA licensing requirements

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement an age-appropriate curriculum for infants
• Provide attentive, individualized care (feeding, diapering, soothing, sleep schedules)
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized classroom meeting health standards
• Observe and document child progress; share updates with parents
• Lead and mentor assistant teachers to support a cohesive team
