U.S. Navy Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) seeks a Child and Youth Program Leader to provide direct care and instruction for children and youth from 6 weeks to 18 years, while mentoring CY Program Assistants and guiding program development.

You will work under supervision to ensure effective, standards-aligned activities across CY programs. The role emphasizes mentorship, curriculum planning, and adherence to DoD and local policies, with responsibilities spanning indoor/outdoor environments,

Competenze

• Experience designing developmentally appropriate programs for children and youth.
• Ability to mentor CY Program Assistants and translate training to practice.
• Strong communication with parents, staff, and installation personnel.
• Knowledge of DoD/NAF CY program standards and safety requirements.

Mansioni

• Mentor CY Program Assistants and provide instructional guidance.
• Plan activities meeting physical, social, emotional, and cognitive needs.
• Prepare and implement program options for special requirements.
• Supervise arrivals, departures, and daily activity schedules.
• Communicate with parents and staff; participate in conferences.
• Assist in assessment tasks and maintain program documentation.
