emagine seeks a Lead Base Software Systems Engineer to support VHIL labs, production, and pre-production plant setups. The role requires broad embedded software expertise on microcontrollers, with hands-on debugging across bootloaders, AUTOSAR middleware, diagnostics, and FOTA processes.

You will lead a distributed team and collaborate with Base SW, Integration, Cockpit Infotainment, Connectivity, and Plant teams to ensure system readiness and rapid issue resolution in production environments.

Competenze

• Bachelors required in engineering or CS field.
• 5+ years embedded software development with C/C++.
• Experience leading diverse global teams.
• Strong AUTOSAR classic stack knowledge and integration.
• Experience with bootloaders, HWIO, Ethernet, SOME/IP, DoIP desired.
• Familiarity with debugging tools and emulators.

Mansioni

• Debug and triage embedded software issues in plant and production environments.
• Travel to production plants and test facilities as needed for on-site support.
• Support bring-up and troubleshooting of AUTOSAR OS, HWIO, COM, DCM, MEM stacks.
• Handle automotive Ethernet and SOME-IP configurations.
• Assist with UDS/DoIP/plant reprogramming workflows for diagnostics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for root-cause analysis and fixes.
• Develop tools/scripts for log capture, debugging, and flashing workflows.
• Ensure comprehensive diagnostic coverage and plant readiness.
• Document root causes, workarounds, and lessons learned for continuous improvement.
