Job summary

TE Connectivity Ltd. is seeking an Automation Machinery Engineer in Italy to lead full lifecycle development of industrial termination machines. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, drive innovation, and ensure designs meet performance, cost, and reliability targets.

The role requires 3+ years in product development and strong CAD skills, with experience in industrial automation and risk assessments. On-site role with competitive salary package and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or related discipline.
• 3+ years in product development and engineering, with at least 2 years in industrial automation.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and mechatronic design; experience with risk assessments and FMEA.

Responsibilities

• Lead machine development projects from concept to installation and commissioning.
• Act as technical lead, coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Drive innovation and ensure performance, quality, cost, and reliability of machines.
• Prepare technical specs, drawings, and documentation; review for manufacturability.
