Tecnimont, part of MAIRE, seeks a Layout & Piping Stress Analysis & Support Engineer to join the team in Catania. The role focuses on delivering stress analyses, supports design, and piping loads on civil structures for large-scale projects worldwide.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in O&G or refinery Plant design, a engineering degree, experience with Caesar II, and fluent English. Travel within Italy and abroad is expected.

Competenze

• Minimum 5 years of experience in O&G or refinery/plant design.
• Engineering degree or technical diploma required.
• Knowledge of Caesar II is required; ROHR2 is a plus.
• Strong teamwork and ability to coordinate with Milan team; fluent English is essential.

Mansioni

• Prepare deliverables under supervision: stress calculation, supports design, and piping loads on civil structures.
• Review deliverables from subcontractors or other design centers for accuracy.
• Ensure information flow within the job team and file drawings per leader instructions.
• Keep the Group Leader updated on status of activities.
• Contribute to adherence to engineering practices and quality standards.

Layout & Piping Stress Analysis & Support Engineer

Layout & Piping Stress Analysis & Support Engineer executes the assigned activities following the instructions given by the Layout & Piping Stress Analysis & Support Group Leader and in accordance with the Engineering Practices and Quality Standards in force within the team, job requirements, time schedule and cost requirements.

Key Activities & Responsibilities:

• To prepare, under the supervision and following the instructions of the Layout & Piping Stress Analysis & Support Group Leader and in accordance with the applicable work instructions, the following deliverables:
• stress calculation,
• supports design,
• Piping loads on Civil structures;
• Stress component material requisitions,
• Stress components technical evaluation of the bids;
• To check the deliverables prepared by Subcontractors or other design centers;
• To ensure adequate flow of information within the job team;
• To file drawings and documents according to the instructions of the Layout & Piping Stress Analysis & Support Group Leader.
• To keep the Layout & Piping Stress Analysis & Support Group Leader fully informed on the status of his/her activities;

Personal Attributes:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in O&G, Refinery of Plant design of Engineering Companies;
• Degree in Engineering discipline or Diploma in Technical Discipline
• Knowledge of Caesar II is required; knowledge of ROHR2 is considered a plus
• Team working attitude and ability to coordinate effectively with the Milan team;
• Fluent English speaker and writer

Availability to travel in Italy and abroad;

Contract Type and Classification:

Contract type: Permanent Applicable collective agreement (NCLC): Chemical and Chemical-Pharmaceutical (identification code B011)

Job classification level: White Collar, consistent with job requirements and applicable Collective Agreement

Compensation:

The initial gross annual salary for this position, paid over 14 monthly installments, will be 42,920.92€

The compensation package will include the applicable elements of the Collective Agreement as well as benefits provided under company agreements, including flexible benefits and a participation bonus. Any additional variable components and/or benefits, regulated by Standards, Policies and/or company agreements, will be illustrated during the selection process.
