European Space Agency in Frascati, Italy seeks a Vega-C Launch System Engineer to coordinate launch campaign operations and launcher-to-ground integration. You will help harmonise engineering approaches across Vega-C, Vega-E and Space Rider programmes while supporting operational concepts and risk mitigation.

The role requires a master’s degree in engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience, with direct Vega experience considered an asset.

• System engineering expertise across multidisciplinary domains.
• Experience with launch campaign operations and integration.
• Knowledge of ESA space system development processes.

Mansioni

• Contribute to harmonisation of launch campaign engineering approaches across Vega-C, Vega-E and Space Rider.
• Support the definition, validation and continuous improvement of operational concepts and exploitation processes.
• Assist in monitoring technical risks, issues and interfaces during campaigns and related activities.
• Coordinate launcher-to-ground segment interface requirements and related documentation.
