Wabtec Corporation in Camisano (CR), Italy is seeking a Laboratory Manager to lead laboratory operations and validation activities for Bogie Brake products. This role ensures testing is on time, within budget and compliant with quality requirements, while supporting maintenance and continuous improvement of test benches.

You will report to the Engineering Manager and collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Production, suppliers and external laboratories.

Competenze

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in laboratory, validation or testing activities.
• Experience managing resources and budgets.
• Knowledge of metrology.
• Experience with laboratory accreditations and international standards, including ISO 17025.
• Fluent Italian and English.

Mansioni

• Manage daily laboratory operations and testing activities.
• Plan and coordinate validation tests.
• Manage laboratory resources, priorities and budget.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and accreditation requirements.
• Support test bench verification and maintenance activities.
• Review and approve test reports.
• Work with internal teams, suppliers and external laboratories.
• Support cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain laboratory organization and 5S standards.
