Wabtec Corporation in Camisano (CR), Italy, is seeking a Laboratory Manager to lead laboratory operations and validation activities for Bogie Brake products. You will ensure testing is completed on time and within budget, while supporting the maintenance and continuous improvement of lab equipment and test benches.

The role requires a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, hands-on experience in lab or testing environments, and fluency in Italian and English.

Competenze

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in laboratory, validation or testing activities.
• Experience managing resources and budgets.
• Knowledge of metrology.
• Experience with laboratory accreditations and international standards, including ISO 17025.
• Fluent Italian and English.

Mansioni

• Manage daily laboratory operations and testing activities.
• Plan and coordinate validation tests.
• Manage laboratory resources, priorities and budget.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and accreditation requirements.
• Support test bench verification and maintenance activities.
• Review and approve test reports.
• Work with internal teams, suppliers and external laboratories.
• Support cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
