Allianz Trade in Italia invites a driven professional to join the Milan office as part of the Department of Surety. You will assess and underwrite surety bond requests for new and existing clients, ensuring high-quality risk evaluation and contributing to a solid, profitable portfolio.

You will collaborate with commercial teams, define pricing, and monitor the risk portfolio while adhering to internal governance standards and risk appetite.

Competenze

• Degree in Economics or Law.
• 1-2 years in a similar role within an insurance company or broker.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to handle complex cases.
• Collaborative approach in an international environment.

Mansioni

Your challenge

You will be placed in our Milan office, within the Department of Surety, where you will be responsible for the support of the growth of our surety business. You will assess and underwrite surety bond requests for new and existing clients, ensuring high‑quality risk evaluation and contributing to a solid, profitable portfolio.

You will be primarily responsible for the following activities:

• Assess and underwrite new surety bond requests, analysing financials, business performance and the technical capabilities of the counterparty.
• Apply underwriting guidelines and ensure compliance with internal policies, governance standards and risk appetite.
• Define and validate technical pricing, ensuring consistency and profitability.
• Manage and monitor the surety risk portfolio, identifying trends, exposures and opportunities.
• Collaborate with commercial teams to support business development while maintaining strong risk discipline.
• Contribute to reporting and documentation, ensuring accuracy and transparency in underwriting decisions.

You are the ideal candidate if...

• Degree in Economics or Law
• 1-2 years in a similar role within an insurance company or broker.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Analytical mindset, problem‑solving attitude and the ability to handle complex cases.

Compensation & Pay Transparency

For this role, the gross annual salary range is €34.000- €40.000, defined based on objective criteria and aligned with our internal pay structure.

The overall compensation package may also include variable components and benefits, in line with company policies.
